8U-12U COACHES--Contact your umpire 48 hours before your games. Make sure to get a reply or call him/her.
Contact Bill at email@example.com with any umpire issues such as not responding, late or no-show.
13U-14U Coaches no need to confirm your umpire--MAC has your games covered. Please do not call them as they cannot handle the volume of calls to confirm game coverage.
Your division coordinators have or will send you additional info.
We along with every league in the country has a severe umpire shortage. Remember that.
Parents/Fans- you are in charge of them. A fan should never say ONE negative word to an umpire. NEW- If a parent/fan gets thrown out of a game, they will be suspended for the season and the coach will be suspended for 8 days (if parent/fan had been an on-going issue in that game / not one outburst).
There will be a ZERO tolerance policy for fans/parents. We will also have very little tolerance for any misbehavior towards umpires from coaches.
Asst Coaches- you cannot question a call from an umpire period.
Coaches- the Head Coach (assistants now allowed to) is the only person who should ever question a call. If the HC has a question, then they should ask for time and politely ask their question while calling the umpire by his/her name. Never yell out, chirp at an umpire or bully an umpire to try and get a future call.
If you need to cancel your game(s), please do so as soon as you know. Contact your opponent and your umpire and get confirmation from both.
If you ever change a game location/time after Thursday of a given week, you should assume that the umpire cannot move with you and you will need to provide your own umpire. You will also need to confirm with your division coordinator.
Report a positive case to your families and me at firstname.lastname@example.org Do not use names (protect privacy).
That person will be isolated for 10 days from the team OR 5 days with a negative test after day 5. They also must be symptom and fever free after the 10 days.
In addition, you must follow all of the protocols within your county in terms of reporting or isolation.
Good luck this season! We all appreciate everything that you do for your team, families and the sport that we all love!

Bat & Ball Guidelines for NVTBL 13u - 14u
NVTBL will allow both USA and USSSA approved bats for the 2020 season. NVTBL does recommend that 14u (8th grade) players begin the transition to BBCOR bats no later than the spring/summer of their 8th grade season.
8u - 12u
NVTBL will allow both USA and USSSA bats for the 2020 season. We do recognize that there are teams at certain age levels who will elect to only use USA bats. Coaches may agree ahead of games to only use USA bats for their game(s). That is totally acceptable if both coaches agree prior to the game starting. The bat rules are posted on the home page of www.NVTBLBaseball.org
The Easton Ghost X 30/20 YBB18GX10 and LL18GHX 30/20 2 5/8" has been decertified by USA Baseball and is no longer an approved bat under the USABat Standard. This applies to the 30" (-10) length of the Ghost X YBB18GX10 and LL18GHX. All other certified lengths and drops of the Easton Ghost X USABat remain approved for play. A full list of approved bats can be found at https://USABat.com
For more information, please visit http://usabat.com/Decertified-Bats/
For the 2020 Spring Season, NVTBL will continue to have the following bat restrictions:
