Fairfax County Looking for Outstanding Volunteers
The Fairfax County Athletic Council (FCAC) is pleased to announce the annual Fairfax County Champions of Character Awards. This awards program honors youth, coaches and parents for extraordinary service in pursuing victory with honor. The program's aim is to help restore the ennobling tradition of amateur athletic competition. Despite the attention that poor behavior and bad sportsmanship attracts, there are plenty of positive role models and examples of players, parents, and coaches who demonstrate positive character in sports. The FCAC invites you to nominate outstanding youth and adults who have demonstrated extraordinary service in the sports community while modeling the basic traits of good character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.

Youth and adults participating in any county sports league, including interscholastic sports, will be invited to be recognized at a ceremony. Champions of Character award winners will receive plaques of recognition and be listed in the program book.

Please use the following form to nominate someone deserving: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/ncs/athletics/pdf/chochr1.pdf

Anyone can nominate a player, coach or parent for consideration of a Champions of Character Award. Submit the form at the above link and narrative to Chris Pulley via email at christopher.pulley@fairfaxcounty.gov. The nomination should clearly illustrate how the candidate has demonstrated one or more of the appropriate criteria of consideration:

    New Payment Processing System

NVTBL is implementing a new Payment System. We will no longer be utilizing PayPal as a payment option. Teams will be able to pay by Credit Card or an ETF (online check) or funds transferred directly from your Team's checking Account.

Your payment information is 100% secure and the information is maintained by our provider, ETS Corporation (a registered ISO/MSP) https://etsms.com. We have worked closely with ETS to assure your payment information is 100% secure and as such, the NVTBL website will not contain or store any secure payment information. ETS has the most sophisticated and secure payment platform of any provider in the market including Paypal.

In addition, if you are participating in 13U - 18U Divisions, your umpire fees will collected from your account in arears on the 15th and the 30th of each month.
